Introduction
HPCBOX is a fully Integrated Development and Automation Environment for High Performance Computing (HPC). It provides everything you need for automating and autoscaling your HPC workflows without having to build-out your own tooling. Furthermore, HPCBOX eliminates HPC Cloud Infrastructure vendor lock-in by providing a unified platform over the Cloud Infrastructure provider's APIs and HPC services. This abstraction allows users to migrate across cloud infrastructure vendors without having to worry about rebuilding all their existing tooling.

Architecture
There are multiple components in the platform and these are briefly described below:
ConnectApp
HPCBOX-CONNECT-APP is used to connect to your HPCBOX cluster. The cluster could be in your corporate data-center, or, on one of the supported cloud infrastructure platforms. For example, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud etc.
ClusterApp
HPCBOX-CLUSTER-APP is available within the HPCBOX cluster and can be accessed once the user has connected to the cluster's remote desktop. This application provides advanced cluster-control, job-control and intelligent workflow capabilities on HPCBOX clusters.
Core Platform
HPCBOX-CORE-PLATFORM is responsible for creating and managing HPCBOX clusters. Additionally, underlying platform capabilities like autoscaling algorithms, cluster management, application integration, distributed resource management etc. are implemented in this layer of HPCBOX. Generally, users rarely come in direct contact with the platform.
