Network Admin Tool

The network admin tool is used to configure external hostnames and IP addresses on the cluster. For example, if you have an external license server with an IP address and a name which is not registered on any DNS server, you can populate the /etc/hosts file on all your cluster workers using this tool. Additionally, the tool includes a method to determine if an external server name is known to all the worker types on the cluster.

tip

A good use of this tool is to configure ISV license servers which may only be accessible over a site-to-site VPN with a non-public IP address.
