📄️ RDMA Check
The RDMA test tool can be used to test high-speed InfiniBand connectivity between the workers on your cluster. This is useful to identify any network issues before executing a workflow pipeline on workers interconnected by InfiniBand. As of this version, this tool works only on Microsoft Azure clusters and when using worker types with RDMA connectivity, e.g., HB/HC series.
📄️ ANSYS License Admin Tool
The ANSYS License Admin Tool can be used to configure and setup the ANSYS license server on your HPCBOX cluster.
📄️ HPCBOX Alerts
HPCBOX can automatically send out alerts when either the whole or part of the cluster is idle. This helps you optimize your budget and control your spend on unused resources.
📄️ Network Admin Tool
The network admin tool is used to configure external hostnames and IP addresses on the cluster. For example, if you have an external license server with an IP address and a name which is not registered on any DNS server, you can populate the `/etc/hosts` file on all your cluster workers using this tool. Additionally, the tool includes a method to determine if an external server name is known to all the worker types on the cluster.
📄️ Cloud Storage
Use the Cloud Storage tool to mount cloud storage onto your cluster.
📄️ Update Tool
The update tool can be used to download and install any available updates to HPCBOX.
📄️ Desktop Tool
The Desktop tool can be used to change the preference of the desktop window manager. Options of MATE and XFCE are provided. By default, the MATE is configured as the desktop manager.
📄️ Application Definition Builder
The Application Definition Builder tool allows you to create custom application definitions for the HPCBOX workflow editor. Custom applications appear alongside the built-in applications (OpenFOAM, ANSYS Fluent, etc.) in the sidebar and can be dragged into workflows just like any other step.
